A basic premise of the ROCeteer mindset is that if you take the time to find out what your individual needs are and tend to them, you will become happier overall.
Our next guest is a shining example of just that, as she has explored many different avenues in her life and is loving them all!
Please introduce yourself to our readers…
My name is Leara Morris-Clark. I am originally from Tampa, FL and I moved to the Boston area in 2013 by way of Tennessee. I have an AA degree in Fine Arts and a BA in Psychology. I have varied interests such as Photography, Drawing, Reading, Social Media, Writing, Web Research, Gaming, Singing, Voice Acting, and Arm Wrestling.
My two jobs allow me to balance my creative interests with my need for order and concrete concepts.
Can you tell us what company you work for?
What is your title there?
Ecommerce Product Data Ninja
What are the exact responsibilities of your job?
I spend my days managing digital assets for a world of promotional products. I reach out to vendors and gather product information, pricing, images and imprint templates and organize, process, and assign projects to my data associate who assists me in uploading and finalizing all product data to publish to the LogicalPromotions.com website.
What is it about your job that makes you love it?
I love this job for several reasons. I really enjoy the team I work with. My supervisor, data associate, and I are all on the same page as we discuss and collaborate around the goal of producing and maintaining a successful website. We define success not only as turning profit but as being the go-to source for promotional products.
We define success not only as turning profit but as being the go-to source for promotional products. We want to be known for making the process of finding, configuring and purchasing promotional products super easy and do so with stellar customer service. I also like doing a job that challenges me and allows me to work on the computer so this fits me perfectly.

What particular skills or talents are most essential to completing your tasks?
Attention to detail, organizational skills and time management are huge for this position.
What level of education would you say is required to perform your role?
I would say at the least an Associates degree.
Do you find that you bring your work home with you? (And is that a good or bad thing?)
I do bring it home with me to some extent, but I think I keep a good balance.
I want to stay interested in the success of the company and so to do that I have to continue to be engaged and involved.
To that end I may think about current tasks or plan for future goals when at home but I limit involvement in working on those tasks at home so that I don’t become overwhelmed or distracted from other responsibilities.
How does this job compare to other jobs you’ve held in the past?
This is a benchmark position for me. I have had a few undesirable positions in the past and this is the payoff.
What is your favorite food?
I have to be honest; it would be easier to tell you what I don’t like. I don’t like oysters!
